How does NordProtect work?

Once you get your subscription, you’ll need to set up your NordProtect account. At this stage, you can add the information you want us to monitor (such as your email address, SSN, and phone number). The more assets you add to the dashboard, the more comprehensive your online protection will be.

The platform will update regularly with information about your credit activity, credential security, dark web exposure, and other metrics related to the safety of your identity. You’ll be able to keep an eye on this information in one place and take action to secure your accounts when needed.

What exactly does NordProtect monitor for me?

NordProtect scans the dark web 24/7 to ensure your personal information hasn’t been leaked on cybercriminal forums and marketplaces. What it tracks will depend on how much information you’ve provided, and it may include:

  • Your email addresses (work and personal.)
  • Your Social Security number.
  • U.S. phone numbers.

However, there is no guarantee that NordProtect will locate and monitor every possible site or directory where consumers' compromised personal information is leaked or published. Accordingly, we may not be able to notify you of all your personal information that may have been compromised.

Identity and cyber protection benefits are available to customers residing in the U.S., including U.S. territories and the District of Columbia, with the exception of residents of New York and Washington.
